Getting to Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, being one of the most modern centers of commerce, business and science in South East Asia, is the capital city of Malaysia, a city in a country that is affectionately known as “Malaysia, Truly Asia”. Kuala Lumpur is also one of the busiest aviation hubs in South East Asia where its Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) has connections with all major airlines. It provides convenient range of public transports from KLIA to Kuala Lumpur city center for fellow business and leisure travelers alike. The landmark of the city includes the infamous Petronas Twin Tower. Therefore, the proposed conference hotel will be in close proximity to this famous landmark. In addition to this attraction, hotels in Kuala Lumpur offer attractive packages for conferences which include buffet breakfast, snacks and lunch during the conference.

Public Transportation

By plane

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2) is about 50km south of the city, in in the Sepang district of Selangor. The Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport, more commonly referred to as the Subang Airport, was the country's main international airport until KLIA was opened in 1998. As it is much nearer to the city centre and less crowded than the newer KLIA, it can make a convenient entry point for those flying from Singapore or other parts of Malaysia.
